DOD Announces Health Care Supplement Program Pilot for DOD Civilian Employees in Japan

PENTAGON — The Department of Defense (DOD) today announced a one-year pilot program to provide no-cost supplemental health support services to DOD civilian employees serving in Japan after a yearlong effort to identify and address concerns regarding access to medical care.

Guardian Wingman, a suicide prevention training program designed by a team at the Kadena Mental Health Clinic, aims to improve mental health management by building a community of Airmen equipped with the tools to support their fellow wingmen.
