The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.
Our military hospital remains open and we’re continuing to provide healthcare services. Scheduled appointments and procedures are proceeding as planned, and new appointments continue to be booked. Health Services

Family Medicine

We provide infant to geriatric comprehensive primary care and minor surgery for 15,000 beneficiaries. We have 10 Family Health providers, one Internal Medicine provider, six nurses, 20 technicians, two Behavioral Health Optimization Program providers, and one BHOP nurse. Our clinic is divided into three teams: Teams A, B and C, which includes the U.S. Army’s 1-1 Air Defense Artillery Physician Assistant. Each team is composed of three or more providers, two nurses, and up to six technicians. The Family Health Clinic executes the Reward Efficiencies Set Priorities Empower Teams clinical care initiative. We also house and support a dermatologist from the US Naval Hospital on Marine Corps base Camp Foster.
