Services Provided 

The 18th Medical Group Immunizations Clinic currently serves: 

• Active duty service members may walk in for immunizations, Monday-Thursday, 7:30-8:30 a.m. 
• Immunizations for other beneficiaries are offered by appointment only 
• Appointments can be booked on the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal 
• Moderna COVID-19 vaccines are available for all patients aged 6 months and older

We’re providing back to school walk-in immunizations service for school-aged children, July 29-Aug. 14. Hours of operation are Monday-Wednesday, 7:30 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m., and Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to noon. 

Thanks in advance for your patience during walk-in hours. Your wait time may vary depending on patient flow and staff availability. 

Tuberculosis Testing 

TB tests are performed Monday through Wednesday only, for walk-ins and appointments. No PPDs are placed on Thursdays due to a required 48-72-hour wait time before reading. No PPDs are placed on Fridays before a holiday Monday due to the 48-72-hour wait time. 

Updating Records 

If you or your beneficiaries need to update vaccine records, send a scanned copy of any vaccine administered off-base (translated to English) to the “USAF Kadena Immunizations Messaging” mailbox in the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal. Scanned copies must include: 

• Patient name 
• Patient date of birth 
• Vaccine(s) given, with lot numbers
