Services Provided 

The 18th Medical Group’s Immunizations Clinic currently serves the following: 

• Active duty service members may walk in for immunizations Monday – Thursday, 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. 
• Immunizations for other beneficiaries are offered by appointment only 
• Appointment ,scan be booked on the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal 
• Moderna COVID-19 vaccines are available for all patients 6 months and older 

We want to thank you for your patience concerning walk-in wait times. Due to patient flow and staff availability, wait times may vary. 

Tuberculosis Testing 

Tuberculosis tests are performed Monday - Wednesday for appointments and walk ins. 

No PPDs are placed on Thursdays due to a required 48-72 hour wait time to read test results. For the same reason, no PPDs are placed on the Friday before a three-day weekend. 

Updating Records 

If you or your beneficiaries need to update vaccine records, you may update them by sending a scanned copy of any vaccine administered off-base (translated to English) to the “USAF Kadena Immunizations Messaging” mailbox in the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal. Scanned copies must include: 

• Patient name 
• Patient date of birth 
• Vaccine(s) given, with lot number(s)
